What is Candle Genie?

Candle Genie has two prediction games on BNB Smart Chain: Price Prediction and Event Prediction. Entries, results, payouts and refunds are recorded by smart contracts.

Choose a game

Price Prediction

Select UP or DOWN for a trading pair. The result compares the price recorded at the round's lock with the price recorded at its close.

Event Prediction

Select an outcome for a published question. Each event specifies its outcomes, entry times and settlement rule.

How the pools work

Each outcome has a pool. An entry adds its stake to the selected pool. The displayed multiplier is the total pool divided by that outcome's pool, before the claim fee. It updates as entries are added.

After settlement, a winning stake receives a share of the total pool after the applicable fee, proportional to its share of the winning outcome's pool. Stakes on other outcomes receive no payout. Refunds apply separately to eligible cancelled, tied or unresolved contests.

Wallet transactions

A connected wallet sends the entry amount directly to the game contract. Payouts and eligible refunds are collected through a separate transaction from the same wallet. There is no separate site balance to fund.

Place an entry

   Open Connect, select a wallet and use BNB Smart Chain. Entries and network gas are paid in BNB.

   Choose a price round or event, then select an outcome and enter an amount within the displayed limits.

   Confirm

   Review the amount, estimated payout, fee and lock time. Confirm the transaction in the wallet while entries are open.

   View the result

   The game displays the recorded result after settlement. Use Claim for an eligible payout or Refund when the refund conditions apply.

The Contracts page lists the addresses used by both games and links to their explorer pages. The explorer shows contract code, transactions and balances. The Resolution page explains how each type of result is recorded.
