Event Prediction

Each event presents a question and a set of outcomes. Entries add BNB to the selected outcome's pool, and the published settlement rule determines the winning outcome.

Read an event card

An event card shows its question, available outcomes, gross multipliers, pool shares, prize pool and opening, lock and closing times. Values in this diagram are an example.

Question and outcomes: The question being settled and the outcome labels available for selection.
Settlement rule: The source, conditions and reference time used to determine the result. Open the event to read its rule.
Multiplier: Total pool divided by the selected outcome's pool, before the claim fee.
Pool share: The percentage of the total pool allocated to that outcome. This is a pool ratio, not a calculated probability.
Prize pool: The combined outcome pools, including the event's allocated seed.

Event times

Card timestamps use the device's timezone. A date or time in the question or settlement rule uses the timezone stated in that text. Closing time is the expected event end; settlement follows when the result is recorded.

Seed and multipliers

At creation, the event's seed is allocated equally across its outcomes. With three outcomes and equal pools, each gross multiplier starts at 3.00×. An entry increases both its selected pool and the total pool.

A three-outcome example starts with 1 BNB of seed per outcome. Adding 1 BNB to A produces pools of 2, 1 and 1 BNB. Adding another 2 BNB to A produces pools of 4, 1 and 1 BNB. Multipliers equal the total divided by each pool.

Seed is part of the payout calculation and is backed by the contract's shared balance. It is not held in a separate reserve for each event.

Event stages

An event is created, opens for entries, locks and is resolved. Cancellation is available before lock or after the unresolved-event timeout. An unresolved event becomes refundable seven days after lock.

Created
The contract records the outcome count, opening time, lock time, seed and a hash of the question and outcome labels.

Open
Entries are accepted. A wallet can enter more than once and select multiple outcomes within its total event stake limit.

Locked
Entry transactions are no longer accepted. The existing pools and positions remain recorded.

Awaiting resolution
After the expected event end, the result is checked against the published rule before it is submitted.

Resolved
The operator records the winning outcome. Stakes on that outcome become eligible for Claim using the final pools and the event's reward rate.

Entries and limits

Each entry must meet the event's minimum amount. The maximum applies to the wallet's total stake across all entries and outcomes in that event. The contract stores the limits and reward rate when the event is created; the entry screen reads those event settings.

Payouts and refunds

Winning outcome: Each winning stake receives a payout proportional to its share of the final winning pool, after the applicable fee.
Other outcomes: Stakes on outcomes other than the recorded winner receive no payout or refund for a valid resolved event.
One outcome backed: The normal payout formula applies if that outcome wins, including seed and reward rate.
No winning entries: If no player selected the winning outcome, there are no player payouts.
Draw: A listed draw is settled as an outcome. It does not automatically trigger refunds.
Cancelled or timed out: Stakes are refundable after cancellation, or if the event is still unresolved seven days after lock.
