Privacy Policy

Scope. This policy covers the Candle Genie website and its related application services. Wallet providers, blockchain networks and other external services also process information when you use their features, as described below.

Blockchain records. Entries, results, claims and refunds create public blockchain records. These include wallet addresses, amounts, selected outcomes and transaction timestamps. Candle Genie reads and displays this data to show market activity, positions and payouts. Explorers and other services can also read and index it.

Wallet identifiers. A wallet address is a public identifier. It may be associated with a person through a profile or information available elsewhere. Public transaction records and data stored by the website are handled separately.

Wallet and transaction information. The interface processes your connected address, selected network, connection state and relevant public balances and positions. Transaction requests and signed messages are passed through your wallet or connection provider. For supported community actions, the service checks a signed message and timestamp to verify authorization by the wallet.

Profiles. A profile lookup can create a record associated with a wallet address, using a shortened address as its default display name. Profile records include a display name, an avatar when supplied, view counts and timestamps for creation, access and updates. Public profile information may appear alongside activity and community content.

Community features. When you use comments, chat, reactions or favorites, the service processes the submitted content or selection, its associated wallet address and relevant timestamps. Comments, chat messages, names and avatars can be displayed to other visitors. Favorites are stored against the wallet address used for the action.

Communications and optional information. We process the information you provide when contacting Candle Genie or submitting community content. A separate email and password registration with Candle Genie is not required to use a connected wallet. If you choose an email or social sign-in option offered by a wallet provider, that provider processes the information required for its sign-in flow.

Wallet credentials. The Candle Genie interface does not request private keys or recovery phrases. Wallet signing and any credential storage or recovery features are handled by the wallet solution you use.

Commercial use. Candle Genie does not sell personal information to advertisers or data brokers. Information is processed for the service functions and disclosures described in this policy.

Hosting and storage. Cloudflare provides website and API infrastructure, database storage and image storage. These services process requests and store application data, including profile records, community content and uploaded avatars. Technical data is also processed to deliver and secure those services. Wallet connections. Candle Genie uses Reown AppKit for wallet connection features. Reown and the wallet you select process connection requests and related technical information. Connection or usage events may include the connected address, network, page URL and timestamp. Optional sign-in features depend on the provider and its configuration. See the Reown Privacy Policy and your wallet provider's policy.

Blockchain access. RPC providers and wallet services receive requests used to read contract data and submit transactions. A request may include a wallet address or transaction information. A provider receiving a direct browser request also receives the connection's IP address and technical request information.

Prices and charts. Price data and charts use external services, including Binance market data and TradingView widgets. Loading these resources can send browser requests directly to those providers. Embedded services may use their own cookies, storage and usage analytics. See the Binance privacy information and TradingView Privacy Policy.

Community platforms and public content. Communications on Telegram or X are also processed by those platforms under their policies. Public profiles, posts and blockchain activity may be viewed or copied by other users and external services.

Legal disclosures and processing locations. Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law. Service providers operate infrastructure in multiple countries, so processing may occur outside your location. Their policies describe their processing arrangements.

Website preferences. Cookies and local storage maintain wallet connection state, network selection and interface preferences, including viewed or dismissed market items. Wallet and embedded service providers may use additional storage for their features.

Managing local data. You can manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings. Clearing them may reset preferences or require reconnecting your wallet. It does not delete wallet-linked records held by the application or transactions recorded on the blockchain. Provider features may require their own privacy or storage controls.

Application records. Profile and community records remain stored until updated or removed as part of the relevant feature, moderation or request handling. Disconnecting a wallet does not remove those records. Retention depends on the feature being provided, outstanding requests, security needs and applicable legal requirements.

Technical records and external data. Technical log retention depends on the provider's configuration and the operational or security purpose of the record. Browser storage remains until it expires, is replaced or is cleared. Blockchain records remain on the network; Candle Genie cannot edit or delete the network's transaction history.

Access controls. Supported wallet-authorized actions use signature checks, and administrative services use access controls. These measures help limit unauthorized changes. Public profile content and blockchain records remain visible as described in this policy.

Optional features. You can browse public information without connecting a wallet. Connecting is needed for wallet-specific features and transactions. You can choose whether to submit an avatar, community content or other optional information.

Your rights. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or obtain a copy of personal information held by Candle Genie, and to object to its processing. Where processing relies on consent, applicable law may allow you to withdraw it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Request scope. Requests concerning application records are assessed separately from public blockchain history. Removing data from Candle Genie does not remove the underlying blockchain transaction or copies held independently by others. Verification of control over the relevant wallet may be needed to process a request; this does not require your private key or recovery phrase.

Age restriction. Candle Genie is intended for people aged 18 or older. If information about a person under 18 has been submitted to the service, contact us so the application records can be reviewed and removed as appropriate.

Policy updates. Changes to this policy are published here with an updated date. This notice describes data processing; using the website does not by itself provide consent for a separate purpose that requires it.

Privacy questions. Contact Candle Genie through the Telegram community with an initial, general description of your request. The community is a public channel; do not post sensitive personal information or wallet credentials there.
